STARTED BLOGGING

Its Wednesday, a sunny day, 6 th of November, a couple of weeks before Christmas, and after several attempts i have finally succeeded in creating my own blog.

So here begins the journey! Looking forward to it.

                                     WRITING IS HARD

I love visiting different websites, finding juicy, interesting stories and unusual point of views that make me say ahhh, nuggets of pure genius that  make me bend over with laughter and those precious ones that make me do the undignified (down on my but, feet in the air, braying with laughter, tears ruining the little make up i managed to apply in my mad dash to work).

It does take up quite a lot of my time, in some ways it is a part of my job description- i manage an Ad network and  this in part requires me to troll sites for suitable publishers to sign on to our network.

It is part of the reason i decided to start a blog, along with the arrogant conclusion that my point of view matters strongly enough to be heard above the noise of the digital landscape of opinions and perspectives and that after months of connoisseuring content- i have become a pro in the field.

Reality- writing is HARD!

Let me rephrase that.... Its bloody hard to write, its freaking hard to generate content, its a Frankenstein of a job to be original- in fact its a job that needs prayers and fasting(CELE ain't got nothing on you)

The feed back from my first post,my second, third, FIFTIETH post does  not match my expectations at all!

I want to wake up automatically and  find my blog page live and kicking,oohs and aaahs over my first post (yes i know its arrogant, but i'm an only child- the world revolves around me) with engagement that goes through the roof, having to beat back the content thieves( still looking for a name for them) and advertisers calling my phone day and night with brands they want to advertise on my blog.

And of course a bank account that does not need a 9-5 sustenance.( Mehn, Linda Ikeji de ball ehn)

Sigh! dream, dream dream dreeeaaam.........

For now, I guess I  have to be content to writing and waking up to 0 page views and comments until i get so good NO ONE can ignore me.

So till then, ..... ima keep writing cause after all practice does make perfect.
